Midrand SDA Church

Who we are

The word Tshedza is a Tshivenda word meaning ‘Light’. Jesus says in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Our core mission is therefore a call to stand out and to be a “light” Matthew 5:13-15 (KJV) to the world through our love and our message that gives hope of a soon coming Saviour Jesus Christ.
Tshedza Midrand Seventh-day Adventist Church is composed of young and vibrant Christians who are eager to serve the Lord in Midrand. Our ministry is Bible-based and holistic. The church faithfully serves its members and visitors and develops disciples for Christ and strives to be a meeting place for the local and extended community.

“To be the Christ-centred spiritual hub of choice in Midrand, where God is relevant to all”

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church mission is to make disciples of all people, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as a personal Saviour and unite with His remnant Church, discipling and preparing them for His soon return.

Whether you are searching for a new church family or just visiting we invite you to enjoy our worship services and fellowship.

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God’s Holy Word.
